I have been making these rare hard to find solid cedar frames for many years now and many have been purchased for display in homes, restaurants, nature centers and art displays throughout the country due to the natural rustic simplistic look of the frames that do not take away from the item being mounted..
Item is made of 100% solid cedar with a light oak finish.
Deep profile stand alone custom frame listed has a total frame size of appr 7" x 9" x 3/4" wide front x 1 .5" deep with a Chicago Cubs Madden Try Not To Suck decal mounted and included with purchase.
The cedar flat Shaker style front of frame is 3/4" wide and 1.5" thick.
Frame has thick 1/8" UV stabilized Acrylic with acid free backing and dark blue matting.
Frame has a light oak finish with no sealers added to bring out the natural characteristics of the solid cedar used in construction of frame. No two cedar frames are identical in texture due to the natural characteristics of the solid cedar used. The natural solid cedar wood can have up to 4 different shades when staining is applied. All the natural imperfections of the wood is left in to add to the rustic appearance of the cedar. No clear sealer or varnish is applied to frame so the cedar can naturally breathe freely.
