I have been making these rare hard to find solid cedar frames for many years now and many have been purchased for display in homes, restaurants, nature centers and art displays throughout the country due to the natural rustic simplistic look of the frames that do not take away from the item being mounted..
Frame is custom made of 100% solid rustic cedar with a light oak finish.
This is a great custom framed item for any man cave, home, restaurant or sports bar decor.
Frame listed has a total size of 12 1/2" x 14 1/2" x 1 1/2" x 3/4" with a complete original black matted 116 page 2016 Commemorative Issue Sports Illustrated (CUBS WIN) special collectors cover 3 of 4 displayed (JON LESTER) , dated November 10, 2016, with cover page displayed, mounted and included with purchase. Frame features thick 1/8" Plexiglass with acid free backing and black mat.
The cedar flat Shaker style front of frame is 1 1/2" wide and 3/4" thick.
All hardware is included with purchase for immediate hanging.
Frame has a light oak finish with no sealers added to bring out the natural characteristics of the solid cedar used in construction of frame. No two cedar frames are identical in texture due to the natural characteristics of the solid cedar used. Texture of frame may vary from pictures shown due to the natural characteristics of the cedar used. The natural solid cedar wood can have up to 4 different shades when staining finish is applied. All the natural imperfections of the wood is left in to add to the rustic appearance of the cedar.
