I have been making these rare hard to find solid cedar frames for many years now and many have been purchased for display in homes, restaurants, nature centers and art displays throughout the country due to the natural rustic simplistic look of the frames that do not take away from the item being mounted..
Item is made of 100% solid cedar with a light oak finish.
Bordered deep profile clip board frame listed is for displaying up to 8x10 prints or craft items and has a total frame size of 11 1/2" x 14 1/2" with 2 1/2" clip positioned as shown in pictures either on 11.5" side or 14.5" side. (PLS INDICATE POSITION OF CLIP DESIRED)
The cedar flat Shaker style front of frame is 3/4" wide and 1 1/2" thick.
Item rests nicely on shelves, bookcases, desks and tables due to the 1 1/2 thickness of frame as pictures show and does come with saw tooth hanger for hanging on walls .
Frame has a light oak finish with no sealers added to bring out the natural characteristics of the solid cedar used. No two cedar frames are identical in texture due to the natural characteristics of the solid cedar used. Item mounted is not included with purchase. The solid cedar wood can have up to 4 different shades when staining is applied. All the natural imperfections of the wood is left in to add to the rustic appearance of the cedar.
