I have been making these rare hard to find solid cedar frames for many years now and many have been purchased for display in homes, restaurants, nature centers and art displays throughout the country due to the natural rustic simplistic look of the frames that do not take away from the item being mounted..
Frame is custom made of 100% solid rustic cedar with a light oak stained finish.
This is a great custom framed item for any man cave, home, restaurant or sports bar decor.
Deep profile frame listed has a total size of 9" x 11.5" x 1 1/2" deep x 3/4" front with a complete original mint condition Sports Illustrated, dated January 13, 2003, with cover page displayed, mounted and included with purchase. Frame features thick 1/8" UV stabilized Acrylic and acid free backing.
The cedar flat Shaker style front of frame is 1 1/2" deep and 3/4" front.
Deep profile frame can be displayed on shelves and desks or hung on walls - position and level on wall, draw a pencil line at top of frame on wall, add two nails and hang.
Frame has a light oak stained finish with no sealers added to bring out the natural characteristics of the solid cedar used in construction of frame. No two cedar frames are identical in texture due to the natural characteristics of the solid cedar used. Texture of frame may vary from pictures shown due to the natural characteristics of the cedar used. The natural solid cedar can have up to 4 different shades when staining is applied. All the natural imperfections of the wood is left in to add to the rustic appearance of the cedar.
