I have been making these rare hard to find solid cedar frames for many years now and many have been purchased for display in homes, restaurants, nature centers and art displays throughout the country due to the natural rustic simplistic look of the frames that do not take away from the item being mounted..
Items are made of 100% solid cedar with a dark ebony finish.
The frame listed is for 4x10 prints or craft items and has a total frame size of 6 1/2" x 12 1/2".
The cedar flat Shaker style front of frame is 1 1/2" wide and 3/4" thick.
Frame has thick 1/8" UV stabilized Acrylic with acid free foam board backing secured with metal easy removable and reusable points. All hardware for hanging is included with purchase. Although these items are made for wall hanging they can be rested in an easel for desk or table displaying. Pictures show items mounted which are not included with purchase.
Frame has a dark ebony finish with no sealers added to bring out the natural characteristics of the solid cedar used. No two cedar frames are identical in texture due to the natural characteristics of the solid cedar used. The solid cedar wood can have up to 4 different shades when staining is applied. All the natural imperfections of the wood is left in to add to the rustic appearance of the cedar. Item mounted is not included with purchase.
