I have been making these rare hard to find solid cedar frames for many years now and many have been purchased for display in homes, restaurants, nature centers and art displays throughout the country due to the natural rustic simplistic look of the frames that do not take away from the item being mounted..
Frame is custom made of 100% solid rustic cedar with a light oak finish and black matting..
This is a great custom framed item for any man cave, home, restaurant or sports bar decor.
Frames listed have a total size of 17" x 17 1/2" x 1 1/2" x 3/4" with complete original Chicago Red Eye Editions dated Thursday June 10, 2010 & Tuesday June 25, 2013 front pages displayed and included with purchase. Frames feature thick 1/8" UV stabilized plexiglas for protection of mounted newspaper .
The cedar flat Shaker style front of frames are 1 1/2" wide and 3/4" thick.
All hardware for hanging is included with purchase for immediate hanging.
Frames have light oak finish with no sealers added to bring out the natural characteristics of the solid cedar used. No two cedar frames are identical in texture due to the natural characteristics of the solid cedar used. Texture of frame may vary from pictures shown due to the natural characteristics of the cedar used. The natural solid cedar wood can have up to 4 different shades when staining is applied. All the natural imperfections of the wood is left in to add to the rustic appearance of the cedar.
