I have been making these rare hard to find solid cedar frames for many years now and many have been purchased for display in homes, restaurants, nature centers and art displays throughout the country due to the natural rustic simplistic look of the frames that do not take away from the item being mounted..
Frames are custom made of 100% solid rustic cedar with a dark ebony stained finish.
These are great custom framed items for any home, restaurant or sports bar decor.
Deep profile frames listed have a large total size of 15" x 24.5" x 1 1/2" deep x 3/4" front with complete original St Louis Post Dispatch (WORLD CHAMPS: CARDINALS WRAP IT UP), dated 10/21/1982 mounted and included with purchase. Newspaper is in great condition for an over 40 year old paper. Frames feature thick 1/8" Acrylic with acid free foam board backing.
The cedar flat Shaker style front of frame is 1 1/2" deep and has a 3/4" front.
No hardware is needed to hang, position and level on wall, draw a pencil line at top of frame on wall, add two nails and hang.
Frame has a dark ebony finish with no sealers added to bring out the natural characteristics of the solid cedar used in construction of frame. No two cedar frames are identical in texture due to the natural characteristics of the solid cedar used. Texture of frame may vary from pictures shown due to the natural characteristics of the cedar used. The natural solid cedar wood can have up to 4 different shades when staining is applied. All the natural imperfections of the wood is left in to add to the rustic appearance of the cedar.
