I have been making these rare hard to find solid Cedar frames for many years now and many have been purchased for display in homes, restaurants, nature centers and art displays throughout the country due to the natural rustic simplistic look of the frames that do not take away from the item being mounted..
Frame is custom made of 100% solid rustic Cedar wood with a light oak stained finish.
This is a great custom framed item for any home, restaurant or sports bar decor.
Deep profile frame listed has a large total size of 11" x 12" x 1 1/2" deep x 3/4" front with a complete original newspaper mounted, The NY Daily News (REJOICE!) dated Tuesday April 25, 2023, mounted and included with purchase. Frame features thick 1/8" Acrylic and acid free backing.
The flat Shaker style front of frame is 3/4" wide and 1 1/2" deep. Item can be displayed on desks and shelves as well as hung on walls. Frame has a light oak stained finish with no sealers added to bring out the natural characteristics of the solid wood used. No two wood frames are identical in texture due to the natural characteristics of the solid wood used. The natural solid rustic Cedar wood can have up to 4 different shades when staining is applied. All the natural imperfections of the wood is left in to add to the rustic appearance of the frame. No clear sealer or varnish is added to the frame so the wood can naturally breathe freely.
