I have been making these rare hard to find solid cedar frames for many years now and many have been purchased for display in homes, restaurants, nature centers and art displays throughout the country due to the natural rustic simplistic look of the frames that do not take away from the item being mounted..
Frames are custom made of 100% solid rustic cedar with a dark ebony finish.
These are great custom framed items for any home, restaurant or sports bar decor.
Deep profile frame listed has a large total size of 12" x 24" x 1 1/2"deep x 3/4" front with complete original St Louis Post-Dispatch (700 - ALBERT PUJOLS MAKES HISTORY) dated Saturday 9/24/2022 mounted and included with purchase. Frames feature thick 1/8" Acrylic with acid free backing.
The cedar flat Shaker style front of frames are 3/4" wide and 1 1/2" deep. No hardware needed to hang this deep profile frame - position and level on wall, draw line at top of frame on wall, add 2 nails and hang.
Frame has a dark ebony finish with no sealers added to bring out the natural characteristics of the solid cedar used in construction of frame. No two cedar frame are identical in texture due to the natural characteristics of the solid cedar used. Texture of frame may vary from pictures shown due to the natural characteristics of the cedar used. The solid cedar wood can have up to 4 different shades when staining is applied. All the natural imperfections are left in to add to the rustic appearance of the cedar. No clear sealer or varnish is applied to frame so the cedar can naturally breathe freely. Please note that newspapers mounted are original and are not perfect as photo copies or reproductions would be. All original newspapers can have press folds and some color variations due to printing presses used but will have no tears or rips in papers.
