I have been making these rare hard to find solid cedar frames for many years now and many have been purchased for display in homes, restaurants, nature centers and art displays throughout the country due to the natural rustic simplistic look of the frames that do not take away from the item being mounted..
Item is made of 100% solid cedar with a light oak finish.
Frame listed is a 6x6 custom framed Chicago Cubs (CUBS LOGO RED BACKGROUND) fleece quilt square with a total frame size of 8 1/2" x 8 1/2".
The cedar flat Shaker style front of frame is 1 1/2" wide and 3/4" thick.
Frame has thick 1/8" UV stabilized plexiglas (I use only the more expensive UV plexiglas instead of glass for protection of item being mounted and also for protection in shipping) with a foamboard backing secured with metal easy removable and reusable points. All hardware for hanging is included with purchase. Although this item is made for wall hanging it can be rested in an easel for desk or table displaying.
Frame has a light oak finish with no sealers added to bring out the natural characteristics of the solid cedar used in construction of frame.
