I have been making these rare hard to find solid cedar frames for many years now and many have been purchased for display in homes, restaurants, nature centers and art displays throughout the country due to the natural rustic simplistic look of the frames that do not take away from the item being mounted..
Framed item is made of 100% solid cedar with a light oak finish.
Frame listed is for a mounted blue matted 8x10 photo hologram numbered print of the University of Kansas Jayhawks Allen Fieldhouse included with purchase and has a total frame size of appr 14.5x16.5"".
The cedar flat Shaker style front of frame is 3/4" wide and 1 1/2" thick. Matted print mounted matches beautifully with the rustic cedar frame.
Frame has thick 1/8" UV stabilized plexiglas (I use only the more expensive UV plexiglas instead of glass for protection of item being mounted and also for protection in shipping) with foamboard backing. All hardware for hanging is included with purchase. Although this item is made for wall hanging it can be rested in an easel for desk or table displaying.
Frame has a light oak finish with no sealers added to bring out the natural characteristics of the solid cedar used in construction of frame. No two cedar frames are identical in texture due to the natural characteristics of the solid cedar used.
