I have been making these rare hard to find solid wood frames for many years now and many have been purchased for display in homes, restaurants, nature centers and art displays throughout the country due to the natural rustic simplistic look of the frames that do not take away from the item being mounted..
Item is made of 100% solid rustic wood with a dark ebony stained finish.
This is a great frame for mounting those collectible old and new motorcycle/ATV license plates.
Deep profile frame listed is for mounting 4x7 items and has a total frame size of appr 5" x 8". Deep profile frame has a dark ebony stained finish
The wood flat Shaker style front of frame is 1 1/2" deep and has a 3/4" front.
Deep profile frame has thick 1/8" UV stabilized Acrylic with a acid free foam board backing secured with metal easy removable and reusable points. Frame can be displayed on shelves and desks with no hardware needed to hang on walls - position and level on wall, draw a pencil line at top of frame on wall, add 2 nails and hang.
Frame has a dark ebony stained finish with no sealers added to bring out the natural characteristics of the solid wood used. No two frames are identical in texture due to the natural characteristics of the solid wood used. The natural solid rustic wood can have up to 4 different shades when staining is applied. All the natural imperfections of the wood is left in to add to the rustic appearance of the wood.
