I have been making these rare hard to find solid cedar frames for many years now and many have been purchased for display in homes, restaurants, nature centers and art displays throughout the country due to the natural rustic simplistic look of the frames that do not take away from the item being mounted..
Item is made of 100% solid cedar with a light oak finish.
This is a great custom made frame for displaying your autographed or special CD cases.
The cedar flat Shaker style front of frame is 3/4" wide and 1 1/2" deep with a total frame size of 8 x 9 x 1 1/2 deep. Interior holds 1 standard size CD case measuring 5 1/2 x 4 7/8".
Deep profile frame has thick 1/8" Acrylic with inside black accent matting secured with acid free foamboard backing. All hardware for hanging is included with purchase. Frame easily rests on shelves and desks for displaying.
Frame has a light oak finish with no sealers added to bring out the natural characteristics of the solid cedar used. No two cedar frames are identical in texture due to the natural characteristics of the solid cedar used. The solid cedar wood can have up to 4 different shades when staining is applied. All the natural imperfections of the wood is left in to add to the rustic appearance of the cedar.
