I have been making these rare hard to find solid wood frames for many years now and many have been purchased for display in homes, restaurants, nature centers and art displays throughout the country due to the natural rustic simplistic look of the frames that do not take away from the item being mounted..
Frames are custom made of 100% solid rustic wood with a dark ebony stained finish.
These are great custom framed items for any home, restaurant or sports bar decor.
Deep profile frames listed have a large total size of 12 1/2" x 24 1/2" x 1 1/2"deep x 3/4" front with complete original The Seattle Times complete front page section A1-A22 (CHAMPS) and section C (DOMINATION!) dated Monday February 3, 2014 (CHAMPS) mounted included with purchase with all other sections stored. Frames feature thick Acrylic with acid free backing.
The flat Shaker style front of frames are 1 1/2" deep and 3/4" front.
No hardware needed for hanging - position and level on wall, draw a pencil line at top of frame on wall, add two nails and hang.
Frame has a dark ebony stained finish with no sealers added to bring out the natural characteristics of the solid wood used. No two frames are identical in texture due to the natural characteristics of the solid wood used. Texture of frame may vary from pictures shown due to the natural characteristics of the wood used. The solid rustic wood can have up to 4 different shades when staining is applied. All the natural imperfections are left in to add to the rustic appearance of the frame. No clear sealer or varnish is applied to frame so the wood can naturally breathe freely. Please note that newspapers mounted are original and are not perfect as photo copies or reproductions would be. All original newspapers can have press folds and some color variations due to printing presses used but will have no rips or tears in papers.
