I have been making these rare hard to find solid cedar frames for many years now and many have been purchased for display in homes, restaurants, nature centers and art displays throughout the country due to the natural rustic simplistic look of the frames that do not take away from the item being mounted..
Item is made of 100% solid cedar with a light oak finish.
Frame listed is for 6x6 prints or craft items and has a total frame size of 8 1/2" x 8 1/2".
The cedar flat Shaker style front of frame is 1 1/2" wide and 3/4" thick.
Frame has thick 1/8" Acrylic with acid free foamboard backing secured with metal easy removable and reusable points. All hardware for hanging is included with purchase. Although this item is made for wall hanging it can be rested in an easel for desk or table displaying.
Frame has a light oak finish. No two cedar frames are identical in texture due to the natural characteristics of the solid cedar used. The natural solid cedar can up to 4 different shades when staining is applied. All the natural imperfections of the wood is left in to add to the rustic appearance of the cedar. No clear sealer or varnish is applied to frame so the cedar can naturally breathe freely. Picture shows needlepoint mounted which is not included with purchase.
