I have been making these rare hard to find solid cedar frames for many years now and many have been purchased for display in homes, restaurants, nature centers and art displays throughout the country due to the natural rustic simplistic look of the frames that do not take away from the item being mounted..
Frame is custom made of 100% solid rustic cedar with a dark ebony finish.
This is a great custom framed item for any man cave, home, restaurant or sports bar decor.
Deep profile frame listed has a total size of 12" x 23" x 1 1/2" deep x 3/4" front with a complete original Chicago Sun Times (WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD), dated November 3, 2016, with full fold out cover page displayed, mounted and included with purchase, rest of paper stored . Frame features thick 1/8" Acrylic and acid free backing.
The cedar flat Shaker style front of frame is 1 1/2" deep and 3/4" front.
No hardware is needed for hanging with this deep profile frame - position and level on wall, draw a pencil line at top of frame on wall, add 2 nails and hang. Frame can also be displayed on desk, shelves and desks.
Frame has a dark ebony finish with no sealers added to bring out the natural characteristics of the solid cedar used in construction of frame. No two cedar frames are identical in texture due to the natural characteristics of the solid cedar used. All the natural imperfections of the wood is left in to add to the rustic appearance of the cedar. Texture of frame may vary from pictures shown due to the natural characteristics of the cedar used. Please note that newspapers mounted are original and are not perfect as photocopies or reproductions would be. All original newspapers can have press folds and some color variations due to printing presses used and come straight from the publisher.
